Noah's
Ark Cakes

Submitted by Sharla

Make your baby
shower or birthday cake special by bringing the animals
in two-by-two...

You can use
a loaf pan or frozen pound cake and cut out the bottom piece
like the picture above.

Using another
cake cut two pieces... one to go ontop of the first layer
to create the top portion of the ark and the other being
sure to slice the slant part for the roof.

Use frosting
or fondant like they did above. Note... if using rolled
fondant then you can secure the trim by using a little egg
white wash.

Frost the roof

Then frost
the base for the water with blue icing. Your cake
board is covered with aluminum.
The flag is
made from a pretzel stick and covered by rolled fondant
or frosting and the flag is cut from the fondant or rice
paper.
